[WADA비판세력 증가추세에 Michael Phelps 미국 역대급올림픽수영 다관 왕도 가세하다]

The New York Times가 지난 주 발행한 별도의 폭로 기사(In separate revelations published by The New York Times last week)를 살펴 보면, Tokyo220.2021올림픽 금메달리스트 2명과 한 명의 세계시록보유자를 포함한 3명의 수영선수들이 이에 앞선 몇 년 전에 금지 약물에 대한 영성반응결과가 나타난 바 있다(tested positive for banned substances several years earlier)고 보도하였습니다.
WADA는 USDADA가 제기한 WADA 의 은폐 혐의를 기각하였으며 중국은 이 건과 관련된 범죄를 줄 곳 부인해 왔다(has rejected charges from USADA that it engaged in a cover-up, and China has denied any wrongdoing in the matter) 고 합니다.

WADA가 선수들을 위하여 조치를 취하는데 있어서 아직도 다시금 국제스포츠계의 압력에 굴복해온 것은 합리적으로 볼 때 우연의 일치가 될 수 없음”(I urge Congress to use its considerable leverage with WADA to make the organization independent and effective. It can't reasonably be a coincidence that WADA has yet again succumbed to the pressures of international sport to do the expedient at the expense of the athlete.)이러고 입장을 밝혔다고 합니다.
