[도핑검사에서 자유로운 Enhanced Games 2025에 50명에서 100명 가량의 Paris2024올림피언 참가 전망]
The Enhanced Games 창설자 겸 흥행사(founder and promoter of The Enhanced Games)인 호주 변호사 Aron D’Souza는 The Enhanced Games은 도핑검사로부터 자유로운 대회가 될 것이라고 AFP(기사 제목: Enhanced Games chief says '50 to 100' Paris Olympians ready to sign up) 인터뷰에서 밝혔다고 합니다.

그가 상설한 Enhanced Games는 도핑이 허용된 상태에서의 세계기록시도 이벤트를 지향하고 있는데 육상, 수영, 체조, 역도 및 격투기 종목이 펼쳐질 것(designed as doping-allowed world-record-attempt events, with a focus on track & field, swimming, gymnastics, weightlifting and combat sports)이라고 합니다.
그는 세부 내역에 대하여서는 정보는 주지 않은 채참가신청서에 1,500명의 선수가 신청을 하였다(1,500 athletes had applied in some form to take part, without providing more details)고 하면서 정식 엔트리는 2024년 후반부에 공개될 것임(formal entries are to be opened in late 2024)을 알렸다고 합니다.

세계도핑방지기구(WADA)는 이러한 이벤트에 대하여 위험천만한 것이라고 규탄하여 왔으며(condemned as dangerous by the World Anti-Doping Agency)복수의 국제연맹들은 이러한 대회에 반대의 목소리를 내면서 참가선수들에게 중징계 규제를 천명(multiple International Federations have come out against it, some promising significant bans for those who participate)하기도 하였다고 합니다.
