[IOC윤리위원장 반기문 몽골 NOC위원장 비리조사의뢰 촉구 서한 어떻게 다룰까?]
새해 첫 소식입니다.
1월2일자 외신 보도에 따르면 몽골 캠페인 그룹 대표(chief executive of a campaign group in Mongolia)가 반기문 IOC윤리위원장에게 서한을 보내 몽골 NOC위원장인 Zagdsuren Demchigjav를 조사해 줄 것을 요청했다고 합니다.

동 서한에서 소위 “올림피즘운동 구하기”(Save Olympism Movement)대표인 Batardene Chimeddori 는 Zagdsuren Demchigjav몽골 NOC위원장이 몽골에서 올림픽운동 평판을 더럽히고 있으므로 제거 대상(tarnishes the reputation of [the] Olympic Movement in Mongolia" and so should be removed)이라고 주장하였다고 합니다
다음은 Batardene Chimeddori대표가 반기문 전 UN사무총장에게 보낸 서한 내용 입니다:
A. "We are writing today to complain of the breach of Article B.2 IOC Ethics Code from the side of Mr. Zagdsuren Demchigjav." (우리는 오늘 Zagdsuren몽골 NOC위원장 편으로부터 해당되는 IOC윤리규정 B조 2항 위반에 대해 고발하고자 동 서한을 쓰는 바임)
B. "Mr. Zagdsuren tarnishes the reputation of Olympic Movement in Mongolia for last four years." (Zagdsuren위원장은 지난 4년 간 몽골 올림픽운동의 평판을 오염시키고 있음)

C. "We repeatedly demanded him to resign from the NOC President's post during last four years, unfortunately [we have] not yet succeeded." (우리는 지난 4년 간 그에게 NOC위원장 직에서 사임할 것을 거듭해서 요구하였지만 불행히도 우리는 아직 결실을 맺지 못하였음)
Zagdsuren Demchigjav은 지난 2017년 4년 임기의 몽골 NOC위원장에 재선되었으며 현재 5번째 임기를 수행하고 (now serving his fifth four year term) 있다고 합니다
Batardene Chimeddori대표는”Save Olympism Movement” 명의로 NOC위원장 선거 투표 당시 투표대상 명단에서 삭제해 줄 것을 요구하였지만 성사되지 못하였는데(demanded his name be removed from the ballot but failed) Zagdsuren은 범죄경력에도 불구하고 선출되었다(elected "despite his criminal record")고 하소연하고 있다고 합니다.
