Emmanuel Macron프랑스 대통령은 4월15일자 TV인터뷰에서 만일 안전문제발생상황이 여의치 않을 경우, 당초 Paris 2024올림픽 개회식장소인 Seine강가 개최가 변경되거나 프랑스 스타디움으로 이동할 수 있다(if the security situation requires it, the Olympic opening planned for the Seine River could be modified or even moved to the Stade de France)고 변경가능성을 시사하였다고 합니다
그는 “이러한 Seine강가에서의 올림픽개회식은 세계최초로 시도되는 것임. 우리는 충분히 개최할 수 있으며 그리 하려고 함. 하지만 우리는 대체계획으로 Plan B와 Plan C도 대비하고 있음. 우리는 대체방안들을 병렬로 준비 중임. 우리는 실시간으로 이러한 경우를 분석할 것임”(This opening ceremony… is a world first. We can do it and we are going to do it. There are plan Bs and plan Cs. We are preparing them in parallel, we will analyse this in real time.)
그는 개회식의 의전 적 절차가 거행될 지역인 Trocadero area에 국한되어 개회식이 치러지거나(the ceremony could be limited to the Trocadero area, where the protocol elements of the ceremony will be held)계획대로 Seine강 루트 6km 코스가 축소되거나(the planned 6 km route on the Seine could be shortened)육상 및 축구 그리고 폐회식 개최 장소인 8만명 수용 규모인 Stade de France스타디움으로 이동하는 것도 가능할 수 있다(it could be possible to “repatriate the ceremony to the Stade de France,” the 80,000-seat athletics and football stadium that will host the Olympic closing)고 시사하였다고 합니다.
개회식에서의 안정문제 우려에 대한 질문에 대하여 Macron대통령은 “만일 여러분의 아들이 안전할 곳 한 곳이 있다면 그것이 바로 이곳 임”(If there’s one place where your son will be safe, it’s here) 삶에는 언제나 위험요소가 상존하며 우리는 불행히도 매일 그러한 위험요소들을 보고 있음. 하지만 우리는 그것을 극복할 수단을 가지고 스스로 대비하여 왔음” (There are always risks in life. 그는 안전대책 계획(security plans)에는 “드론 시스템, 코딩, 사이버 보호 장치(drone systems, coding, cyber protection)”가 포함되어 있으며 개회식 개최 전후 며칠 또는 몇주간 개회식 장 주변에 걸쳐(the perimeters would be in place days or weeks before)작동될 것임을 덧붙였다고 합니다
Paris 2024 올림픽 개막식은 물자 반입 및 안전에 대한 우려로 인해 당초 계획되었던 60만명 관람객수준에서 좀더 합리적인 규모인 326,000명으로 축소 조정됨(scaled down already due to logistics and security worries, from a projected 600,000 spectators to a more reasonable 326,000)으로 Seine간 부두 하단부 착석 용 104,000명 입장 티켓과 무료입장대상자들로서 프랑스정부로부터 입장권을 교부 받아야 하는 대상자들인 상단 부 222,000명의 수용 규모(with 104,000 ticketed fans on the lower quays, and 222,000 on the upper quays who will come for free, but will have to get tickets from the government)로 재조정되었다고 합니다.
