1)ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations)총회에서 IOC스포츠국장인 Kit McConnell은 IOC가 18세 이하 선수들에 대한 지원 틀 마련을 위해 5월 중 “합치된 성명서”를 공개할 것이며 2025년에는 보다 상세한 가이드라인을 제시할 것임(the IOC is undertaking a framework on support for under-18 (minor) athletes, with a “consensus statement” coming in May and a more detailed guideline in 2025)
2)AOSIF총회, Francesco Ricci Bitti회장 후임으로 단독 출마한 Ingmar de Vos를 만장일치(29-0)로 선출하였음(The ASOIF also elected a new president, the FEI chief Ingmar De Vos) 2025년 1월1일부터 회장에 취임(will take over on 1 January 2025)
3)ASOIF총회는 Paris2024조직위원회 보고에 의거하여 4월17일에 시작될 사상최대규모인 50만장이상의 올림픽 입장권추가판매분(a new sale of 500,000 tickets will start on 17 April, the last large offering of tickets for the Game)에 대하여 언급함. 50만장으 추가입장권은 예비 용과 카메라 포지션 구간에 할당되었지만 이제는 판매 가능 분량이라고 함(These are tickets which had been held for contingencies and possible camera positions, but can now be sold)
4)Paris 2024조직위원회(위원장: Tony Estanguet) 보고에 따르면 Paris올림픽의 인기에 힘입어 지금까지의 대회입장권판매현황은 790만장에 달하여 프랑스국외에서 37%수준인데 미국-영국이 입장권 구입 주도국들 임(The popularity of the Games was highlighted, with 7.9 million Olympic tickets sold so far, with 37% sold outside of France, and the U.S. and Great Britain the leading out-of-country buyers.)

5)Paris2024올림픽개막까지 100여일 남짓한 가운데 Paris2024조직위원회 관계자들은 대회운영을 위한 채용 직원 2,500명정도를 유지하고 있음(With just more than 100 days to go, it was noted that the Paris organizers will still bring on some 2,500 paid staff for the Games.) 경기부서에서만 지금부터 개회식 날인 7월26일까지 직원수가 326명에서 514명까지 증가할 것이며 10,932명의 자원봉사자들이 경기 부서에 배치될 것이라 함(In the Sports Department alone, staffing between now and 26 July will rise from 326 to 514, and 10,932 volunteers will be assigned to the department.)
6)ASOIF총회에서 LA28조직위원회 보고에 따르면 2028년 올림픽 경기장 위치가 금년 하반기에 발표될 것(announcements on venue locations will come later this year)이라고 함. 2028년 올림픽 종목 당 선수 쿼터 규모는 Paris2024올림픽과 근접하거나 동일 할 가능성 시사(Athlete quotas per sport for 2028 will likely be very close to or the same as for 2024)함에 따라Paris2024대회에서 삭감된 스포츠 종목들에게는 나쁜 소식 임(bad news for those sports which got cuts for Paris)
7)ASOIF총회는 올림픽대회 정식종목으로 한 차례 채택된 국제연맹들이 해당 올림픽 TV방영권수입금 분배 몫 배당 목적의 조직체의 일환이 될 수 있는 방법에 대한 새로운 규칙을 채택하였다(adopted new rules on how federations which are admitted for a single Olympic Games can become part of the organization for the purpose of receiving a share of the IOC television revenue for that Games) 함
8)LA2028올림픽 4개의 추가 정식종목((1)cricket, (2)flag football, (3)lacrosse and (4)squash)국제연맹의 ASOIF신규회원연맹 채택투표에서 모두 압도적 찬성표를 받았지만 만장일치는 아니었다(The votes were overwhelming, but not unanimous)고 함. ASOIF는 London2012 당시 26개 회원연맹에서 LA2028에서는 35개 또는 36개 회원연맹으로 증가 예상됨
9)IOC로부터 인증 철회가 된 국제복싱협회(IBA)는 더 이상 ASOIF회원연맹이 아니므로 회원자격해촉(the International Boxing Association was dismissed from ASOIF as it is no longer recognized by the IOC) 투표결과(찬성28-반대 0-기권1)
10)금년 3월 아프리카게임 성공으로 영연방 대회도 치를 수 있다고 언급한 가나 체육부장관의 언질로 아프리카 가나가 2026년 영연방 대회 대체 개최국으로 부상되고 있음(Ghana has emerged as a possible host for the 2026 Commonwealth Games, with the national sports minister saying that the success of March’s African Games shows they can handle the event.) 영연방 대회는 아프리카에서 개최된 바 없음(The Commonwealth Games have never been held in Africa)
