“프랑스 경제의 상징적 보석”(iconic jewel of the French economy)로 간주되는 Air France항공사가 Paris2024와 협약 체결을 하고 Paris2024올림픽 및 패럴림픽 대회 공식 파트너가 되었다고 합니다.
동 발표는 Air France의 올림픽과의 오랜 연분이 확장되는 계기가 되는 것으로 그 동안 Air France는 1952년이래로 프랑스 국가대표선수단을 올림픽 개최장소로 실어 날아왔다고 합니다.
Air France는 2016년 Paris2024올림픽 유치 당시에도 공식 파트너가 되어 대회를 프랑스로 유치하는데 핵심 지원 사로 활약하여 왔다고 합니다.
Air France항공기(air carrier)는 자사 비행기 10대를 에펠 탑이 아로새겨진 로고를 숫자 24 형태로 장식함으로(by decorating 10 of its planes with the Eiffel-Tower-inspired logo stylised into the number "24".) Paris2024올림픽유치에 대한 지원을 나타낸 바 있다고 합니다.
Air France는 Tony Estanguet유치위원장이 이끈 Paris2024유치대표단을 IOC가 2017년 Lima개최 IOC총회에서 대회 유치에 성공한 후 프랑스까지 실어 날아왔으며 Tokyo2020올림픽 폐회식에서 올림픽 기를 인계인수 받은 후에도 다시 자국 기로서 대표단을 운송하였다고 합니다.

Air France는 올림픽 및 패럴림픽 대회에 참가하는 전세계선수들과 팬들과 미디어대표단과 프랑스에 입국하는데 필요한 서비스를 준비하고 있다고 합니다
Air France임직원들은 비행기의 화물수송편에 Paris2024대회에 동반되는 육상 투창을 비롯하여 서핑 보드(surfboards_에 이르기까지 필요 장비 등을 실어 나를 준비에 만전(javelins)을 기하고 있으며 Seie-Saint-Denis에 위치한 올림픽 선수촌에서 체크인수속과정에 이르기까지 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이라고 합니다.
