[Cherishing the Memory of a Close Mongolian Olympic Friend of Mine Dr. D. Zagdsuren, NOC President/몽골올림픽위원회 전임위원장 별세를 추모하며)]
I have just learned that one of my closest Mongolian Friends, Dr. D. Zagdsuren, Former NOC President passed away yesterday. He died of kidney cancer.
It is a great loss not only to the Mongolian Olympic Movement but also to the entire global Olympic family.
Together with the global Olympic Family members who have known him for a long time, I am saddened by his sudden death.
He was kind enough to arrange an Honorary Doctorate for me at the Mongolian National Olympic Academy in November 2003 when I was suffering from Korean NOC office politics.

I had the honor to be awarded the 1st Honorary Doctors Degree in the presence then-Mongolian President, H.E. Bagabandi.
