스포츠외교현장에서 네트워킹을 잘 하려면 우선 영어가 되야한다.
모든 외국어가 그러하듯이 우리에게 오랜동안  친숙한 영어지만 어느 정도의 어휘력은 구비하여야 한다.
오늘부터 오픈하는 스포츠외교 달인영어교실에서는 영어의 여러가지 다른 분야 중에서 필수 어휘와 표현등을 모아서 그날 그날 소개하고자 한다.
아무리 평소에 영어가 된다고 하는 사람들도 매일 필수적인 영어표현들을 숙지하고 갈고 닦아야 국제스포츠외교 현장에서 자연스런 대화와 소통이 매끄럽게 물 흘러가듯 살아 숨쉴 수 있는 것이다.
평소에 스포츠외교나 국제소통에 관심있는 분들에게 도움이 되기를 바라는 마음뿐이다.
영어실력을 함께 증진시키고 지식과 정보도 항상 공유하고 나눌 수 있는 열린마음을 가질때 국제스포츠외교현장에서 기쁨과 보람도 일취월장하리라 믿는다.

1)사랑은 아무나 하나?
-Love is not such an easy game to play.
*정치는 아무나 하는 게 아녀!

2)못 먹어도 고!
-The show must go on.
*뭔 일이 있어도/하늘이 두쪽나도 대회는 강행 해야 하네.
-The Games must go on.
3)첫 끝발이 개 끝발! (용두사미)
-Flash in the pan.
-It's just an early lead. That's all.
*초반에 폼 잡고 용쓰는 것 뿐 이라구.
-He's just grabbing an early lead.
4)까무러 치겠네.
-I probably faint. (*feint는 거짓 꾸밈/feint motion:운동경기 중 상대방 속이기 위한 제스처 등)
5)이 보다 더 좋을 순 없다./어떻게 더좋아?
-(It)Couldn't be better.
*How are you?
-Couldn't be better.(지금이 최고야.)
-Couldn't be worse.(최악이라네.)
*어쩌면 타이밍이 그리 절묘하니?
