복싱과 역도를 관장하는 세계기구들인 AIBA와 IWF가 IOC에 대해 Tokyo2020 및 Paris2024각각의 올림픽 정식종목 프로그램에 자리매김유지를 위해 충족해야 할 정확한 요구사항을 분명히 해달라(to clarify the exact requirements they need to meet in order to retain their places on the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 programmes respectively)고 요청하였다고 합니다.

4. Paris2024조직위원회 제안 신규종목 시간라인(Paris 2024 OCOG proposal for new sports timeline)정리
1) 2019년 2/4분기(Q2 2019): Paris2024 선호신규종목 IOC에 제출(Paris 2024 submission to IOC)
2) 2019년 10월(October 2019): 신규종목 잠정 포함여부 IOC총회 결정(IOC Session decision on potential inclusion of new sports)
3) 2020년 12월(December 2020): Paris2024 정식종목 및 선수 쿼터 최종결정(Final decision on Paris 2024 events and athlete quotas)
