[국제빙상연맹(ISU)신임회장 후보 군 Update]

 

 

22년 간의 ISU회장 직 장기집권(1994~2016)후 물러나는 이태리출신 Ottavio Cinquanta회장(78세) 후임 후보로 누가 거론되고 있는 지 알아 보겠습니다.

 

기존의 3명 후보 외에 국제빙상 계에서 가장 강력한 후보로 물망에 오르고 있는 것으로 알려진 4번 째 후보가 4월11일 드디어 공식적으로 ISU회장출마 출사표를 던졌다고 합니다.

그 주인공은 잠재적인 ISU회장 후보로 분류된 바 있었던 ISU 스피드스케이팅 담당 부회장인 빙상강국 네덜란드의 Jan Dijkema입니다.

Jan Dijkema후보는 4월11일 선거캠페인 슬로건으로 “영감과 혁신”(Inspiration and Innovation)을 내 걸고 본격적인 ISU회장 선거전에 뛰어 들었다고 합니다.

 

 

그의 ISU회장선거 선언문(manifesto) 전략의 3가지 기둥(three strategic pillars)은 다음과 같습니다:

2)  Promotion and Digitalization

3)  Development and good Governance

ISU회장 후보로 첫 출사표를 던진 바 있는 프랑스출신 Didier Gailhaguet(62세)의 ISU 회장 선거 출마 슬로건은 “Change or Be Changed”(변화하지 않으면 변화 당한다)로 알려져 있습니다.

 

ISU회장 출마의사 확인 마감일은 4월25일까지 라고 합니다. (The deadline for confirming intentions is April 25.)

 

ISU회장 후보등록 마감기일 D-6일인 4월19일 현재 ISU회장 출마 후보는 모두 4명이 되었습니다.
