[러시아, Stupid(어리석은) IOC, Tokyo2020올림픽복싱준비동결조치 미련한 짓 맹비난 배경 스케치]
12월1일 한 외신기사 제목은 “러시아, Rakhimov가 자신의 명예회복 주장하는 가운데 Tokyo2020올림픽 복싱준비 동결조치에 대하여 어리석은 짓이라고 주장하다”(Russia claims IOC is "stupid" for freezing Tokyo 2020 boxing preparations as Rakhimov again insists he will clear his name)였습니다.

러시아복싱연맹(RBF: Russian Boxing Federation) 사무총장인 Umar Kremlev가 Tokyo2020올림픽 복싱토너먼트 계획자체를 동결시킨 결정에 대하여 “IOC는 복싱이 올림픽종목에서 삭제되는 것 보다 더 빨리 산산이 부서져 버릴 것”(IOC will "fall apart faster than boxing is removed from the programme")이라고 맹 비난하였다(criticised)고 합니다
Kremlev사무총장은 11월30일 발표된 IOC집행위원회의결정에 대하여 강한 어조로 힐책하는 가운데(in a strongly-worded rebuke to the IOC Executive Board decision) Tokyo2020올림픽에서 세계복싱관장기구인 국제복싱연맹(AIBA)에 대하여 여러 가지 우려 점 때문에(because of several concerns with the world governing body) 조사에 착수한다면서(launching an inquiry into the International Boxing Association) 복싱종목을 보류하는 결단을 내린 발표 후(after putting the boxing event at the 2020 Olympics on hold) IOC관계자들이 어리석다고 주장하였다는 겁니다.
IOC의 조사업무는 Nenad Lalovic IOC집행위원이 위원장으로 임명되었으며 Gafur Rakhimov가 AIBA회장으로 선출된 것을 포함하여 우려사항에 대하여 심사평가 할 것(assess these concerns)으로 알려진 바 있습니다.
조사심의 결과에 따라 IOC는 AIBA의 국제연맹 인정 자격정지조치도 강행할 수 있는 개연성(the outcomes of the investigation could lead to the IOC suspending AIBA's recognition)이 엿보이는데 이쯤 되면 골치거리로 전락한 AIBA는 올림픽 복싱종목경기 관장 권조차 박탈되는 조치가 이루어 지게 되는 수순으로(a move which would end the troubled governing body's right to organise an Olympic boxing competition) 가게 될 것 같습니다.

Tokyo 2020 Toshirō Mutō사무총장(chief executive)은 복싱관련 최종결정 시한이 2019년 6월이라고 말한 것으로 인용되었는데 기술적인 측면은 IOC에 달려있으며 조직위원회의 소관사항은 아니라(technically this is up to the IOC and not the Organising Committee)고 언급하였다고 합니다
시간대(timeline)에 대하여 일본복싱연맹이 의문을 제기하였는데 Sadanobu Uchida일본복싱연맹회장은 6월시한은 Tokyo2020올림픽시작 15개월 전이므로(as it is ony 15 months before the start of Tokyo 2020) “너무 늦다”(too late)고 주장하였다고 합니다.

재정운영 및 복싱경기에서 정직한 심판판정문제(Financial management and the integrity of its competitions)는 IOC가 AIBA에 대하여 품고 있는 다른 우려 분야에 속하고 있는 것(among the other areas of concern the IOC has with AIBA)으로 알려지고 있습니다.
11월 초 AIBA총회에서 AIBA집행위원으로 선출된Kremlev러시아 복싱연맹사무총장은 Rakhimov 측근지원 인물로서(a close supporter of Rahimov) IOC의 결정사항의 영향을 희석시키려고(also sought to play down the impact of the IOC's decision)하고 있다고 합니다
