[2019년 미국 San Diego개최 제1회 ANOC World Beach Games 대회관련 Update]
ANOC(회장: 쿠웨이트 출신 Sheikh Ahmad)가 주관하고 미국 San Diego에서 2019년 열리는 첫 대회인 세계비치게임(inaugural World Beach Games)이 출전 자격을 부여 받은 벌써 44개국 NOC에 이르렀다고 11월10일 자 한 외신이 보도하였습니다.

대회까지의 카운트 다운이 1년을 돌파하면서(As the countdown to the event surpasses one year), ANOC World Beach Games시작까지 5대륙 NOCs들이 출전 자격획득을 위해 참가하여 왔다고 합니다.
총 15개 종목 스포츠가 모래사장(beach), 물(water)에서 치러지며 short-board, surfing, 3x3 농구, 비치 핸드볼 및 가라테 종목 중 개인kata등과 같은 액션 스포츠도 경연을 벌일 것이라고 합니다
이러한 종목들은 이미 대회 출전자격 경기들 종료(already completed qualification events for the Games)하였다고 합니다
대략 1,300여 명의 선수들이 미국 San Diego에서 2019년 10월10일~14일 경기에 들어 갈 것이 예상된다(expected to be in action)고 합니다

A. "It is very exciting to see that so many NOCs from all five continents have already qualified for next year's first-ever ANOC World Beach Games." (5개 대륙에서 그렇게 많은 NOCs가 이미 ANOC World Beach Games에 출전자격을 획득하였음을 알게 되니 흥분됨)
B. "The qualification process has been designed to ensure that the world's top athletes will compete in San Diego next year and the athletes that have competed in the qualification events so far have shown how much we have to look forward to. (출전자격 획득과정은 세계최고선수들이 San Diego에서 경기에 출전할 무대를 만들어 주기 위해 고안된 것이며 지금까지 출전자격 부여대회에 참가한 선수들은 우리가 얼마나 학수고대해왔는지를 여실히 보여주어 왔음)
C. "The ANOC World Beach Games will be the pinnacle of global excellence in beach, action and water sports and will connect new disciplines and new sports stars to a new generation of sports fans. (ANOC World Beach Games는 모래사장에서 펼쳐지는 글로벌 탁월함의 정수가 될 것이며, 액션 스포츠와 물위에서 펼쳐지는 스포츠는 신규 세부종목들과 신규스포츠들로부터 출전하는 스타들을 새로운 스포츠 팬 세대와 연결하는 계기가 될 것임)
D. "It will be an event unlike any we have seen before, combining dynamic sports and a new set of elite athletes with live musical performances and the latest trends in technology. (동 대회는 이전에 볼 수 없었던 색다른 대회가 될 것인바 역동적인 스포츠와 생동감 있는 음악연주가 아우러지는 엘리트 선수들의 신종 경기세트 그리고 최신 기술 추세를 결합하게 될 것임)
E. "With many more qualification events to come, there will be a lot of opportunities for more NOCs to qualify for San Diego 2019. (앞으로 남은 더 많은 출전자격 대회와 함께 모다 많은 NOCs들이 San Diego 2019대회 출전기회가 충분히 제공될 것임)

대회조직위원회 관계자들에 따르면 40만 명 이상의 팬들이 대회참관을 위해 쇄도할 것으로 예상하고 있으며 공식 방송사로 미디어 권 협정서(a media rights agreement)계약을 체결한 NBC를 통해 더 많은 시청자들이 관전하게 될 것이라고 언급하였다고 합니다.
미디어 협정서 계약내용의 일환으로 NBC Olympics측은 NBC, NBCSN, 자체 website NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app 및the Olympic Channel를 총동원하여 중계할 것(will broadcast coverage)이라고 합니다.
