[Paris 2024올림픽 Seine강가에서 역사적인 개회식 위해 보트 선단(Flotilla of Boats)활용 계획 공개하다]
Paris 2024올림픽 및 패럴림픽 조직위원회는 Seine 강가에서 역사적인 대회개회식개최(the historic Olympic Games Opening Ceremony along the Seine)를 위하여 야심 찬 계획 실행에 박차를 가하는 가운데 Seine강유역의 42개에 달하는 관계 회사들과 협업하고자 하는 제안을 진행시키고 있다고 합니다.
총 116개 파리 및 지역 배(선박)이 동원되어(a total of 116 Parisian and regional boats have been identified)2024년 개회식 날인 7월26일 6km에 걸쳐 참가선수들을 싣고 이동하는 것으로 밝혀졌다고 합니다.
개회식에 동원되는 선박의 98%가 Paris에 기반을 두고 있는 것으로 예상되고 있지만 조직위원회 관계자들은 Strasbourg에 기반을 둔 선박 회사인 Batorama의 지원을 획독한 상태인데 그 회사 전무이사(general manager)인 Isabelle Burget는 계획된 개회식 선단에 동참하게 되어(part of the planned fleet)영광이라고 주장하고 있다고 합니다.
카누 slaom종목 올림픽 금메달리스트(3관왕)이기도 한 Tony EstanguetParis2024조직위원장은 “ 2024년 7월26일 지구촌 10억 명 이상의 관람객들이 파리와 올림픽개회식으로 관심을 돌릴 것임”(On 26 July 2024, more than a billion viewers will be turned to Paris and the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games) “선박소유주들의 동의가 없다면, Seine강가에서의 개회식 전개 프로젝트라는 이러한 야심 찬 계획을 가능하지 못하였을 것임”(Without the boat owners, this ambitious project of a ceremony on the Seine would not have been possible.) “이러한 전대미문의 신명 나고 희망 하건대 올림픽 역사상 가장 위대한 개회식 조직을 가능하게 해준 선주들을 의지할 수 있어서 우리는 기쁘고 감사하는 바임” (We are very happy and grateful to be able to count on them to make the organisation of this unprecedented, exciting and we hope, the greatest ceremony in the history of the Games possible.)이라고 소감을 표명하였습니다.
치밀하고 대규모의 안전대책 작전이 요구되는(set to require a huge security operation) 올림픽개회식에서 10,500명 선수들에게 사용될 140척에서 170척 사이 규모가 동원될 것으로 예상되고 있다고 합니다.
Gérald Darmanin프랑스 내무부장관(Interior Minister)은 25,000명 가량의 안전요원(security agents)들과 35,000명 정도의 경찰관들이 동원될 것으로 예상되고 있다고 합니다.
2021년 12월 당초 계획(initial plans)에는 올림픽개회식에 60만명규모를 수용하는 것으로 되어 있었지만 Amélie Oudéa-Castéra 프랑스 체육부장관은 지난 주 참석대상수는 조율되고(being refined) 있다고 밝혔다고 합니다
올림픽 개회식 입장권 가격대는 €90 (£80/$99) 에서 €2,700 (£2,390/$2,960)로 책정되어 판매될 예정인데 다음달 5월에 첫 투표를 통해서 시행될 것(set to go on sale via a ballot for the first time next month)으로 알려지고 있습니다.
올림픽개회식에 동원되기로 약정된 42개 선박 회사들 리스트는 다음과 같습니다:

Entreprises Fluviales de France 회장인 Didier Léandri는 올림픽개회식 참여는 “강변 산업(riverine industry)이 올림피즘을 위해 헌신할 수 있는 절호의 기회이며 이를 통해 강변 산업의 가치요소들인 약속, 탁월함 및 환경적인 합리성을 보여줄 수 있는 것임”(an opportunity for the riverine industry to put its values of commitment, excellence and environmental sobriety at the disposal of Olympism)이라고 소감을 표명하였다고 합니다.
Paris 항만협의공동체(Paris Port Community) 회장인 Olivier Jamey는 올림픽개회식에 선박 업체들의 참여는 “ 강변 기반 업체들이 인상적인 팀으로 함께 참여하는 기회를 제공하는 것임”(offers the opportunity for river companies to join together as an impressive team)이라고 공감을 표명하였다고 합니다.
Paris 2024는 올림픽 스타디움 밖에서 열리는 사상 최초의 개회식으로 기념될 것(set to mark the first Olympic Games Opening Ceremony held outside a stadium )입니다.
한편 Paris2024올림픽 폐회식은 Stade de France스타디움에서 8월11일 진행된다고 합니다.
