GAISF의 성명서 내용에 따르면 GAISF이사회 지휘 아래 GAISF사무처가 일상 사무행정 운영은 계속하되(day-to-day operations "continue to be carried out as normal by the secretariat directed by the Council) Raffaele Chiulli ARISF회장 겸 GAISF수석부회장이 총괄 책임자로 지휘할 것이라고 합니다.
Chiulli GIASF임시회장은 2019년 5월 호주 Gold Coast 개최 SpoertAccord Summit회의 기간 동안 열릴 예정인GIASF총회에서 새로운 정식회장( a permanent President)선출 시까지 GAISF의 최고경영자 역할을 수행할 것(at the helm of GAISF)이라고 합니다
한 외신에 따르면 지금까지 故 Patrick Baumann GAISF회장이 맡아 오던 국제스포츠 기구 여러 직위에 대한 후임인선 결정(to decide who fills positions on several organisations held by Baumann)을 위한 관련 협의 회의가 11월 초 진행될 것이라고 합니다.
故 Baumann 회장은 다수의 국제스포츠기구 고위직 역할(numerous high-ranking sporting roles)을 수행해 왔는데 (1)국제연맹자격 스위스 IOC위원, (2)국제농구연맹(FIBA)사무총장, (3)WADA집행위원 및 Lausanne2020, (4)LA2028 올림픽 IOC조정위원장, (5)Lausanne2020 동계청소년올림픽조직위원장, 및 (6)하계올림픽종목국제연맹연합회(ASOIF)이사 등이 그것입니다.

GAISF는 Baumann회장의 추도식(a memorial service for Baumann)이 2018년 11월2일 Lausanne 성당(Cathedral)에서 열릴 것이라고 발표하였으며 거행된 바 있습니다
동 추도식에서는 “GAISF를 비롯하여 여러 가지 핵심 직위를 수행하며 그가 생전에 만난 모든 이에게 감동과 활력을 선하기도 하였으며 전 세계스포츠에 지대한 기여를 한 인물의 일생을 추모할 것” ("celebrate the life of a man who made a massive contribution to GAISF and to sport around the world in a number of key roles and who inspired and energised all he met")이라고 GAISF는 성명서를 통해 공지하였습니다
고인은 장차 잠재적인 IOC위원장 감으로도 거론되었다(was touted as a potential IOC President in the future)고 전해지고 있었습니다.
