[Thomas Bach IOC위원장 대한민국 국회방문회동(12월4일)과 2032년 올림픽남북공동개최의지표명 스토리 스케치]

 

 

 

Thomas Bach IOC위원장이 일본 Tokyo에서 열린 ANOC총회, Tokyo2020올림픽 및 패럴림픽 IOC조정위원회 및 IOC집행위원회 참석한 바 있습니다.

 

그는 이후 한국으로 건너와 삼성과 IOC글로벌 올림픽 TOP파트너 계약연장(2021~2028) 서명 식과 더불어 대한민국 국회를 방문하여 문희상 국회의장 등 여당 야당 국회의원 등과 국회 사랑채에서 07:30부터 조찬을 겸한 만남이 있었다고 합니다.

 

 

국회방문 시 그는 홍영표 대표, 김성태대표 및 김관영대표 등 여러 정당 그룹 지도자들이 함께 한 자리에서 평창2018 성공개최 및 IOC와 대한민국 간의 협력관계를 논의하기 위한 연설을 하였다고 합니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

참석한 모든 정당 정치지도자들은 평창2018 동계올림픽을 통해 한반도와 세계 평화를 위해 문을 열어준 IOC의 역할에 대하여 치하하였다(All the political leaders praised the role of the IOC in opening the door for peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world through the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018)고 합니다.

 

그들은 스포츠가 보여준 활약에 힘 입어 평화회담까지 동반되도록 약속의 기반을 마련해 준(for its commitment to accompany the peace talks through actions in sport) IOC에 대해 감사를 표명하였다고 합니다.

 

그들은 2032년 올림픽 남북한 공동개최(a joint organisation of the Olympic games2032)가 평창2018에서 시작된 평화를 향한 과정이 2032년 올림픽의 성공 개최로 이어지게 되는 것으로 세계 만방에 보여주는 위대한 징표가 될 것(a great symbol to show to the world that the peace process which started with the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 would come to a successful end with the Olympic Games in 2032)이라고 설명하였다고 합니다.

Bach IOC위원장은 IOC가 남북한 NOCs 및 남북한 정부대표들과 2019년 초 Tokyo2020올림픽과 그 너머를 향해 강화된 미래협력 지향(about enhanced future cooperation, with a view to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and beyond) 관련회담을 가질 것(the IOC will hold talks with representatives of the NOCs and governments of both countries in early 2019)이라고 발표하기(announced)도 하였다고 합니다.
